Thermal stability of Nickel oxide black materials

Nickel oxide, inorganic compound, chemical formula Ni2O3. It is a gray-black, odorless and lustrous lump, which is easy to crush into fine powder. It dissolves in hot hydrochloric acid and emits chlorine. It dissolves in sulfuric and nitric acids and emits oxygen.
