Ferromolybdenum is an alloy of molybdenum and iron. Its main use is in steelmaking as molybdenum element additive. The addition of molybdenum into the steel can make the steel have uniform fine crystal structure,improve the hardenability of the steel,and help to eliminate the temper brittleness.
